“Jackie is pure magic.” -Cordelia W.

I am so grateful for this compliment…but what makes my design process magic?

Three goals:

To use my intuitive sensibilities and communication skills to identify and anticipate your aesthetic preferences.

To support your lifestyle now, from a practical viewpoint, while positioning you for future modifications.

The result is to provide you with the confidence to be certain in your choices.

“Thank you for making my house so beautiful.

We love it!“ -Beth P.

Simply put: I make your space more beautiful and livable. This creates a sanctuary within your home, increases your emotional well-being, and brings everyday happiness.

So how do I do it? Here is the recipe (or potion if you are so inclined).

Jacklyn’s Recipe for Success

4 parts interior design

3 parts attention to detail

3 parts developed artist sensibilities

3 parts knowledge of intuitive healing arts

Stir until combined.

Add chocolate chips until your heart smiles.

Bake until golden brown.

Serve with lots of coffee or tea.

Repeat business is the greatest compliment I can receive. I’ve helped residential and commercial clients with color consultation, space planning, organization, and finish selections. I specialize in seamlessly blending old and new items to keep my client’s homes looking “historied” but updated, curated but not stuffy, and tastefully styled. All this on a budget.

“…we were finally able to successfully incorporate things we really treasure in ways we could use while getting new pieces that our house needed to pull it all together within our budget. " -Erin K.

Want to know more about me?

I’m from a small town in Western Pennsylvania where I spent many hours drawing and creating art as a child and young adult. After high school, I attended Bradford School in Pittsburgh, earning a Degree in Graphic Design. I then worked professionally in a variety of artistic and business roles. These experiences in art, design, business, buying, and management paved the road for my next degree which was a diploma in interior design from New York Institute of Art and Design. In addition to this formal education, I continually increase my knowledge through classes in design, color, art, and alternative healing arts.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time baking (because I am a mediocre cook, at best), gardening (so we have our own dried herbs for my husband’s very good cooking), and travel (because I’m a Sagittarius and I want to see as much of the world as I can!).

The next project at my own home is a camper van conversion!
