My formal training is in graphic design and interior design but I have been a practicing textile artist for over ten years.

I am interested in bringing attention to our collective universal and emotional connection to one another and to nature using textile art. Common themes in my work include memory, nature, women’s work, and rites of passage.  Traditional methods such as embroidery and sewing are combined with modern fabrics, written word, and found objects to create evocative scenes, movement, and invocations of myth. The end result produces wall-hangings, wearable art, and sculpture.
