Grandma's Tablecloth Aprons

One-of-a-kind. Made by hand, with vintage tablecloths.

Process: After scouring markets to find vintage fabric, much care goes into rehabilitating it. Stains are removed and color is restored. There may be anomalies in the fabric, which I see as charming. Next, accent fabrics are chosen to complement the vintage tablecloth fabric. Then, assembly. Last, custom details are added with care.

I wonder if dinners were lovingly served on these linens, like those served by my Grandma Louise. Wow, could she cook! Sunday dinner was passed from person to person over her neatly ironed tablecloth.
